  • Al Ghurair City launches Nature Surprises

    Dubai, 20th July 2007: In conjunction with DSS 2007, Al Ghurair City, the region’s premiere shopping mall will host another fun packed event for the whole family.

    The Nature Surprises will take place at Al Ghurair City from the 19th of July to the 25th of July. Children will be given an insight into the deep world of the sea.

    The event will also include a musical theatre play entitled “Go Deep Blue”. The story will center around 7 main characters and the obstacles they encounter in the sea. Although a play targeting children, the story will also look at the effects of pollution. “Go Deep Blue” will take place every day from the 19th of to the 25th of July from 5pm onwards.

    The Nature Surprises will also include a picture gallery with photographs of rare deep sea species. Children and families alike will marvel at the wide range of exotic fish, marine mammals, marine reptiles, shellfish and other organisms living at the bottom of the sea amongst rare plants. The picture gallery will open throughout the event.

    A large sea model will also feature sea species. The sea model will be an integral part of the event and will no doubt attract numerous visitors to Al Ghurair City. Children can also add their very own touch by contributing their creations every day.

    In addition, families can also take part in numerous exciting games and will have the opportunity to win lots of Modhesh surprises bags with gadgets and other Modhesh goodies. Build your fish skeleton with the help of friendly animators or take part in a fun clay workshop. Alternatively, why not create your very own sea box to take home to remember the special day.

    Children will also have the opportunity to take part in competitions such as magnet fishing competitions or a sea turtle puzzle competition to win lots of exciting prizes.

    The Nature Surprises will take place at Al Ghurair City from the 19th of July to the 25th of July, although entrance is free, it is best to arrive early to avoid disappointment!
